Bitter Sweet

bitter sweet is what i utter when i am immersed in water hung afloat to the stinging rays of the sun bitter sweet is what i murmur when the sun steps down for the moon light is life dark is doom a valve of contradiction regulates an appetite of gluttony if not i am sunk in the abyss and gulped all up i get good milk and millet for nagging and shout, i am curled up in a spoon i dare not taste yonder and yonder my heart wonders to a place known as comfort ground where i am still under the sheets and my eyes transfixed to the sleeping eyelids and lips of my ever bitter sweet
