Bitter- Sweet

Life is a mixture of emotions causing the heart to spin around. A carousel of shattered dreams with big ole tears flowing down. We grace the stage with great applause, smile and take a bow. Our stardom may fall in shambles leaving the brain to wonder how. Defeat, though a bitter pill to swallow, can be healed in time. The sweets of life most pleasurable, may also prove unkind. Living is a difficult race to win but once won, it’s hard to beat, but memories called up from the past, can make it bitter- sweet. The road walked is a long journey when clouds are dark with rain. It can be hard to navigate raging waters across a bounding main. The sun will come out and waters dry, a fact sure to repeat. Jesus clears the rains away and makes the bitter, sweat. Ephesians 1:19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, which he wrought in Christ. Ephesians 2:14 For he is our piece.
