Birthday

It was on this day that I saw first light Only a couple of day before I can gain sight A sight that would be an influence to my being A motivation that drives and compliments my doing Every day is new and I can’t stop learning Learning that life will not always be what we yearning But instead it is what you make it to turn out Like a chef on a signature dish, you have to do it more than once It is not always roses and peaches with nectar sweet That attracts the birds and the bees But it is a never ending dig just so one gets that ounce It was on this day that I had a sudden realization A realization that life has no hesitation The only hesitation is when one is not true about life
