Bipolar Companion
I’m better altered
Attitude and mood
I want a companion
Not angered, or rude
A bipolar manner
Leaves me perplexed
I plead for a canter
And knowing what’s next
Just a steady stride
Repeating beat
A healthy supply
To quench my need
It boosts my mood
It soothes my pain
It’s different with you
You’re never the same
I try and I try
Combative, I’m not
I smile and comply
My very best shot
You poke and prod
Killing my high
Seeing through my facade
As, I’m not one to lie
By now, it’s too late
You sensed my dismay
So I’ll take the bait
Just like yesterday
