I am in my body While floating above A vessel for hate Who chooses to love A traveler of sorts Roaming the earth A pilgrim from the stars who came here by birth Suffering is temporary A lesson to learn It’s for God’s Kingdom I solemnly yearn I am not merely Just what you see Not trapped in this body I know my destiny Look in my eyes Travel with me there To a city of angels Devoid of despair.

Richard, Indeed, congratulations. Poems are fun to play with. Your poem makes me think of Cain and Abel as a reflection of the ongoing battle between these two aspects of one's psyche—the earthly, flawed Cain and the spiritual, aspiring Abel—as they navigate the complexities of existence and strive towards a state of harmony and fulfillment. Which one gets into Heaven?

Congratulations on your win, Richard! This poem so richly tells of your ongoing travels as a "pilgrim from the stars." Your eyes are clearly focused on your "destiny" - a "city of angels/devoid of despair." This poem vividly shows your ability to bilocate between heaven and earth! Wonderfully written! Blessings for your journey!

So true Richard, devoid of despair is what most souls aim for, that longing carries through us until we one day meet our Maker, then we thirst no more. Congratulations on your 3rd place win, thanks for your kind visit :)

Dear Richard, your poem is very well written for the line of enquiry, and flow’s just seamlessly, i especially love the lines “ I am not merely Just what you see Not trapped in this body I know my destiny“ i can feel the strenght of your voice and how awareness flows within through those lines. And also the ending! Is brilliant! City of angels! How creative! Pleasure reading this, sending you light
