Billy Jean Was An Ocean Queen

Billy Jean was an ocean queen A rambler out on the high seas, Cool as a cat and ready to scat Living life as she damn well pleased. She lived to run out there in the sun Or under the moon and stars, She loved deep water and ink in her blotter But didn’t like loud people or cars. She loved watching blue whales, billowing sails And dolphins leaping high in the waves, Sunrises and sets she could never forget those brilliant bright colors they made. From the stern or bow she prayed as she found Mystery and meaning galore, in every sweet breath Billy Jean was the best Ocean Queen from my shore to yours.

A rhythmic tale of the sea, nicely written for all to see. Enjoyed the read, Terrell. Your poetry has a nice smooth flow. A poet friend in Texas, Bill
