Bills

There is a thing That comes on time: Bills that life brings To suit the chimes. No one can stop The buzz of bills: The endless drops, Frenzy that fills. Bills and more bills In surge of stay: Never quite still With awkward say. I try my best To stay on top: Yet bills spark quest To sum non-stop! What can I do To own less bills? Perhaps to woo, Control lame will! Till then, I sigh With mundane grief: Bills dilute highs In measures brief. Leon Enriquez 19 August 2014 Singapore
