Big Girls Don't Cry

I have often been told, Big Girls don’t cry! Big Boyz don’t cry! Why I say? Why I ask? Who made the rules? Who defined the norms? Penned up emotions I want to let, Penned up thoughts I want to express. I want my tears rolling, I want my heart weeping. I want my eyes turn wet and red, I want my heart to feel free and light. Who’s to decide how I express? Who’s to decide why or when I shed? I will let my big girl cry, I will tell her it’s alright. I will leave her to explore, the World of emotions on her own. I will be a by her side just to see, she’s doing fine!
