beyond the shadows

In this poem, I tried to capture the pain and confusion of feeling lost and not good enough, especially from my point of view. It's like I'm stuck in a maze of self-doubt and insecurity.
But even in the midst of that, there's a tiny hope that I can find my way through it. It's about the struggle we all face in growing up and discovering who we really are.
I hope these words speak to the pain and the strength that comes with it.
In the shadows of my own uncertainties,
I tread upon the shifting sands of doubt,
A young heart, a fragile vessel,
Lost in the labyrinth of self-discovery.
Whispers of inadequacy cling to me,
A cloak of shadows woven from
the threads of my own insecurities,
I am the ghost of potential unrealized.
In the mirror, I meet searching eyes,
Windows to a soul adrift in confusion,
Reflections of dreams shattered,
Scattered fragments of a puzzle incomplete.
I dance in the realm of not-enoughness,
A masquerade of smiles masking
the tremors beneath the surface,
A facade, a performance for a world
that demands perfection.
I am the echo of unspoken fears,
A melody of self-doubt that
resounds in the chambers of my soul,
A symphony of inadequacy, haunting.
Yet, beneath the weight of my own shadows,
A flicker, a spark of resilience,
A whisper that maybe, just maybe,
I am more than the sum of my doubts.
In the silence, I seek my own voice,
A song yet unsung, waiting to be heard,
For within the labyrinth, there lies
the promise of self-discovery.
I am not a vessel adrift,
But a ship, navigating uncharted waters,
A young heart, a canvas of possibility,
Brushstrokes of potential waiting to be painted.
For in the tapestry of uncertainty,
I am the weaver of my own destiny,
A young girl, finding her way,
Embracing the journey, despite the fog.
