Beyond the Run

I brought my knees to my chest and I closed my eyes under the eyes, travel silver strips, millions of wires of blinking, all the sand of seconds that caught us together my eyes sting my thoughts sting that we have left our hands in the night, where you sleep in peace the comfort of the trees takes your dreams in the most gentle, maternal hugging you do not savvy that the breeze has passed on my window you do not savvy he saw my sleep dry I am an abandoned child in the midst of silence in which the longing is tangled a golden dragon broken down by calling
