Beyond the Known

Let the sun send down it's rays Let clouds form patterns overhead Now we can see the void We are entitled to view it It is our birthright, our future Beyond the sky Lie countless stars and darkness Let the rotation of the moon Continue for we have walked on that orb As we shall walk on other orbs Is someone out there in the darkness? Someone we should know about? There are things too strange and great For our understanding to fathom Eyes which have gazed upward Now close Off to a dream - filled sleep The universe above - we can take comfort In knowing we are only a small part of creation

Surely, there is "Someone we should know about...out there in the darkness," Matthew. And, yes, we have walked on the moon, but I would like to see an aircraft from Earth tripping through the Milky Way. (Maybe in my next life.) As for exploring Woodstock, I do believe Yasgood's Farm is calling my name. Love, Carolyn
