Beyond Desires

Beauty can be so enticing, seeing what we want, but not allowed to have. The face is beautiful, the body is curved for sexual appeal, toned perfectly. The figure is flawless, the eyes are gorgeous. Staring into pure beauty. Yet is this want we want? Is this all you see? Anyone can work to have these attributes, or even pay. But where is the true desire? After the physical appearance, what do they have to offer. What does the heart look like? What does their mind really say? Can the beauty of the heart compare to the appearance? What is it that we really seek? Do we want the outer beauty that fades, or do we want what lasts longer? Sometimes we seek what we would rather desire than what we truly need. The needs might not have everything desirable that we want. The expectations aren't met. Maybe what we desire isn't what we really need. Maybe what we need is better for us. Maybe what we need is right in front of us.
