Bewitched

Thoughts start to invade my mind, Mixed emotions embraced my heart Lost self, where can I find? Swollen eyes, where are you staring at Locked inside a four-cornered room Tangled chain tightly grasping my wrist I wanted to escape this harsh world, I wanted to live on a faraway land Looking outside the window, Staring at the beautiful moon as it glows It does not lessen my fear, As I see witches flying in near This world is full of autocratic sorcerers, A world where mere trance is not enough A world that many suffers A world that you can hardly survive A mortal like me Desiring a harmonious life Put under this curse Would I be free from this domineering world?

Thanks for sharing this. Welcome to Poetry Soup, Kabayan. I welcome you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.
