Better With Age
A favorite star of mine
that portrays class and style
is Demi Moore and then
she stated with a smile...
“I said I would get better with each baby, and I have."
I find this quote funny
yet with meaning and I'm glad.
In this century
do we really still judge?
Continuing to find the need
to label unique love?
If a woman finds content
in a sweet male cub
then we should be happy
instead of using our noses to snub.
I find the term cougar
a compliment in the end.
It symbolizes maturity
not prowling to win.
As we age we gain
self assurance and self worth.
Becoming confident
instead of dependent like at birth.
Maybe there is a connection
between a cougar and younger men.
Don't knock it unless you've tried it
perhaps it will bring you zen.
