Better Than Love Knows
Babe I should admit
I did not understand you
I felt so wronged and justified
I did all I could to please myself
And feel loved,
But babe I did all I could to make you cry
I love you
Better than love knows
Each time you see me now,
I cause you pain,
You want to run away,
You can't see why you should
Believe me when I was so silly
To hurt you as if I never loved you.
I did what I thought was right
All I had to do
I did all I could to make you leave me,
Now having done all, without you
I feel so empty.
I love, can't you see
Better than love knows
I need you more than
A passion can tell,
I love you better than love knows
I am trying hard
To make you forgive me,
Please be blind to all the pain, for us:
For this love we have had,
What can I see, what can I do,
When it is all me who broke
The world you were giving me,
Shattered it all away,
Let me just mend it,
Put it all back together.
I love you
Better than love knows
I need you more than
What it feels just to
Hold a woman in my arms
All your smiles
Which used to bless my life
Keep haunting me.
You meant them babe,
Now you find it hard to look at me,
I understand you meant every thing you said
I believe in you, I need you back:
Your beautiful scent.
I love you,
I was a fool but
I am more than a fool in love is with you,
Forgive me, I have nowhere to go.
