Betrayed But Free
Sitting alone in the dark
She thinks of him in her heart.
She looks to the sky way up above,
And prays for the pain to stop.
Never once questioning the lies
Now all she wants to do is cry.
She hoped for something that was never there,
And now she feels nothing but complete despair.
Maybe one day he'll look at her and see
He's the one who lost,
And she's the one who's free.
