Betrayal!!!

With a heavy heart, I kept my stare Oblivious of the sun’s unpleasant glare My eyes were misty. I was in a mare I was once at the apogee of my artistic flair Then, I did nothing than float on air But now thoughts of you fill me with flare The world did rate us a perfect pair I was intoxicated and made you my heir You said you cared but you weren’t fair You did in all conscience leave me bare Someday you’ll rue the day you fled to lair
