He holds my hands so gently and tells me I’ll be fine Says he will always love me – he is a lying swine Tenderly wipes away my tears and holds me in his arms I can’t believe I’ve wasted my life and fallen for his charms He tries to explain the reasons why he has to leave Got back with his ex wife and now my heart does grieve He’d promised me it was all over and I one day I’d be his bride We’ve been together for two years, I’ve been taken for a ride My heart is bruised and broken from his shock confession I loved him oh so dearly I must teach this man a lesson I look longingly at him and stare into his dark brown eyes This man I once so adored now I do despise How do I admit to her the wife was never my ex That was just a line because I wanted sex Four days with one and three days working away Both of them believing every word I say.
