Best Rondeau

Dad I am here all through the day Standing here just inches away You want family by your side Saying kids, the source of your pride Somewhere outside they roll and play Please go run out, show them the way Before sun’s out and sky turns gray I smile but tears are hard to hide Dad I am here As I pour medicine you say— Hey nurse, bring me my girl today She loves junk food, salty and fried Your eyes become mushy and wide Please God, show me to him, I pray Dad I am here Written on 07/12/2016 for 'Best Rondeau Poem' contest by Laura Loo

this is so sad. And very moving. Maybe I am wrong but doesn't rondeau begin with the repeated phrase? Where you wrote "you call for us kids" I believe you need to put "Dad I am here" in that spot!
