Best Friend

From the the first time we saw your tiny body You put such a huge smile on our face. Your crazy squirrely eyes and zest for life just took us to a brand new place. You didn't just eat your food You had your own little party in it. You were so crazy to watch there was no stopping you, there was just no quit. As you grew older you became such a protector, and such a friend. You always took the time to listen to us, no matter how broken the problem, you would start the mend. I remember a time when i was away You sat outside, by the door of my shed until i returned, that's where you would stay. You were always there to greet us with a cuddly nuzzle and a wag of your tail. You would never judge us, and always love us You gave us all your love, without fail. As time moved on and you grew older It was so hard to see our best friend and confidant may soon no longer be. As I write this, the tears they flow and my heart surely breaks The best friend a person could ask for Time will take. I will miss you always but sometime I may no longer cry but i will never forget your life and the memory of that day, that we said Goodbye. Love and thank you always Griffin, your best friend, billy
