Bernie Is Impervious To All Harm

Bernie Is Impervious To All Harm By Elton Camp Little Bernie settled in for the night Being bid by parents, “Sleep tight.” The room was dark and very still But fear made Bernie feel a chill Some horror in the closet hiding A monster under his bed abiding He stayed from edge of the bed And pulled the cover over his head Sheet and quilts protection complete That any fiend would easily defeat But let an arm extend out too far A brute growls, “There you are!” A hairy hand would take hold Do to Bernie cruel things untold As long as the cover was tight Bernie slept safely all the night
