Ben's
There's a little spot
Where the chicks are hot
Where the blues are in
And the downs are not
Order a drink and get a pretty ladies smile
Just ease it back and relax awhile
Dig the beat
The chicks are sweet
You know your at Ben's
Troubles escape like bubbles
Sorrows are for tomorrows
Just leave the downs at the door
Hear that Jazz? Need I say more
Just smile and for a drink or two
A pretty lady will dance with you
Just a brush of the skin
And a little squeeze
Not much more then a flirting tease
The chicks are sweet but not to please
Please at Ben's
At the table in the corner where the shadows are soft
You can sit and speak your mind
Those chicks got nothing but your time
Tell them what's right and what's wrong
Keep buying them drinks
And they will listen all night long
All night long at Ben's
Heaven's attention you keep by drinking liquor in a glass
Hers are watered so they can outlast
But when the cash is gone the attention will pass
The chicks get cold
Your stories get old
The day gets near
And it's time for you to be getting outta here
So you wave to the Man
That cool cat who leads the band
Who keeps singing the blues
That made the evening swam
You get your hat and wave goodbye to him
That's right
That's him
At Ben's
