Beneath the moon's embrace
Beneath the Moon’s Embrace
In the quiet of night, where dreams take flight, I wandered along the shoreline, seeking respite. The waves whispered secrets of forgotten tides, And I, a weary traveler, yearned for love’s guide.
I carried remnants of heartache, etched in my bones, A symphony of lost melodies, haunting undertones. Yet hope, like a distant star, flickered in the night, Promising solace beyond the light.
And there, amidst the grains of time-worn sand, I stumbled upon footprints—a serendipitous strand. Each step, a revelation; each imprint, a chance, To rewrite the narrative, to waltz in love’s dance.
The constellations shifted, rearranged their glow, As if the universe conspired, whispering, “Go.” I traced Orion’s belt, sought Venus’s tender flame, Believing that love, once lost, could still reclaim.
And then, beneath the moon’s embrace, we collided, Two souls converging, fate’s compass decided. Your eyes held galaxies—the promise of dawn, And suddenly, the past dissolved, a memory withdrawn.
We nurtured love like fragile petals in spring, Watered by laughter, kissed by the zephyr’s wing. Our scars became a constant reminder, Of hard times that we adorned, Just to be beside her, And not completely torn.
