Beneath her skin

There's a bird inside her just
 beneath her skin
When she opened her wings I
wished she'd let me in
She made a circle in the sand
She made a halo with her
That angel made a place just
for me to land
She pulled the sunlight through
me in Miami
It was hard to see, that angel
was meant just for me
Forever I've been covered in
the thickest of skins
I never meant to let
another in
To her she drew me, she pulled
me, she left me upside down
inside out & right side again!
Cross the waters through the
town past the shadows where
she fell down
There's no escaping I want her
I have to find my way
somewhere deep inside her
My lips I placed her - a seat she
My hands rocked the rhythm
her hips told!
God, just give me only one sin?
I have to be the bird just
beneath her skin!!!
