Beneath a Tree
Once I saw an old man sitting beneath a tree
He seemed to be doing nothing he was free
The breeze blew his beard
His clothes were hanging loose on him
It was dusk time n so it was dim
As I passed him he smiled a toothless smile
I went upto him n sat in front
Warned me saying I must think twice as" I'm blunt"
He said he usually comes here, a lonely spot
And said hes here at four oclock on dot
He also said he was a soothsayer
But did face reading n say what will happen to people here
I got interested so I sat ,for him to predict my future
He was so right with his readings he spoke like a computer
He warned me of the impending ill health
He also said that I'll never be short of wealth
I payed him for this and left wondering how one person is so gifted
He told me very good things so I was sky lifted.
