Beneath a Stone

I clawed at the dawn Beneath a porphyritic slab My innocence dead and gone Apparitions of lovers How fleeting they become Hiding under darkness cover To glimpse eyes of aqua Find a gentle smile Amongst the vast astral For affections I seek not more Who to comprehend my void Just a pretty face at the door Lying beneath a porphyritic stone
