Ben Lost But Never Forgotten
He felt frustration and pain,
He thought no one else could understand, or explain.
He didn't feel it would ever end.
Family and friends, and those closest to him,
In the place he was now,
Seemed like strangers,
No connection to his heart,
because of tall walls erected,
by the depth of his loneliness.
Only an unrequited love,
Could have extended a needed hand,
and pulled him back from where he thought he had to go.
His parents,
who for awhile held his hands,
Can still hold his heart forever.
