Belong
I can’t say the same for you
But one way or another
I feel we belong.
Not as a couple or soulmates,
But as something in each other’s lives.
Be it two souls who belong
Platonic or not.
I feel it in the pull
Drawing me close to you.
In the way I hope we stay in contact
Even after we leave.
Like two puzzle pieces
Put together in life
We seem to just fit.
How I wish I could tell you that.
