Belief
A seed within me I often feel,
A seed within me I suspect, my probing mind conceals.
A seed within me I knew not much about it,
A seed within me it matured slowly within me, bit by bit.
This seed within me “my belief”.
This seed within me “my belief”.
It has marked itself with loneliness,
Stained, itself with anxiousness.
It’s intangible web in my mind it has begun to weave,
Endless surges within me with no burdens to heave.
Metamorphoisised belief now my thoughts,
Which emerge victorious and to my mind’s fore frequently brought.
Beliefs they churn silently brew themselves in my mind,
And try to pursue me to act in manners of all kind.
They drag me into paths to walk that are quaint and odd,
It’s magnetism attracts me as my moments I prod.
My mind often asks me for testimony,
A question at times springs up within me,
And wish my mind’s eye could see,
If this belief really belonged to me?
Or have I within me originated them for mine to be?
Or from many past lives brought them with me?
Or did I from my ancestors inherit them for free?
Or did I acquire them from my wild thinking spree?
Don’t know how but I guess I know,
Belief acted upon make our life glow.
As the action change to results alpine high,
Like the moth turns to a beautiful butter fly.
