Bejewelled Tree

I gazed out of my favorite window, The beautiful tree touched by the rain. The branches shone like jewels, Diamonds of nature. The daylight shinning, Through the pristine droplets of water. There were a few trees like this, Simply welcoming spring. The rain had endured, Cloudy and foreboding. The tree like a ray of sunlight, Cheering the day. Author: Gwen Meyer-Erlach Schutz
