Being Me
I rather be me than another,
because being me is what I'm good at;
I wouldn't change myself for the world,
and I know what that for a fact.
Being me is an easy job,
one that takes personal skill;
I'm best at what I do,
and all is done by will.
You should learn to be you too,
no matter the price you might pay;
But being you is better than nothing,
in each and every way.
I can't change the way I am,
I'm a person who's interested in art;
Not to mention being a **** up,
or any fake of some part.
I won't pretend,
and neight will I lie;
But I'll express myself firmly,
nor will I have to try.
Being me is what I was born to do,
being myself is who you'll have to accept;
So if I mess up - that's just me,
I'm that person to expect.
