Not fitting in, I believe, is more blessing than curse – and not being like the rest of the pack is more fortunate than a smile or kiss. Are you one of the few who knows that being different isn’t necessarily something to be ashamed of? ~ quote by poet
All the lonely people, the ones who live in fear
Of the loneliness that’s taking them
Through anxiety and doubt, worries that haunt
And feelings that taunt the spirit
Are the ones who need to know for certain
They’re loved beyond words or expression
All the mourning hearts, the ones who are in pain
Filled with sorrow that rests on their soul
Grief that teases and torments with dark thoughts
Leading their minds into anguish that aches
With weeping that whispers across naked wounds
In need of a light to brighten their gloom
All the ones who are different and wonder
Through this world with a dread for
The distinction that makes them seem a little
More wise or simple or any other alteration
These are the people in need of a kindness
From someone who can give without expectation
It is better to give than to receive – always
Give your smile to one in need of gentleness
Your embrace to one in need of a caress
Your encouragement to one in need of direction
Your light to one who is living in black dismay
Your love to one who is held up by their faith
