Being a Man

When i grew up,And became a man,I promised I would,Do all i can,To grow and learn,An open mind,To try and love,All mankind,To help and cherish,My Family and friends,Sometimes A fruitless task,That may never end,Not to cry,Because I,m a man,To bight my tongue,Whenever I can,To show strength,In every way,Not shirk my tasks,In any day,These things i learn t,As time went by,But In the end,I wondered why,It doesn't make you,Less a man.To give compassion when you can,To want to cry,when you are sad,And not always be good,We cant help,Being bad,To be a man,Takes lots of things,Not always love,And Diamond rings,But just to be,The best you can,Its in your heart,That you will feel,If what your doing,Is for real,Make each day,A special one,And these will,be remembered when your gone.
