Being a Hero
Toil away for precious oil -
Leave a trace in foreign sand.
Shuffle off your mortal coil -
Your sacrifice is in demand.
Kill a kid.
Go back home.
Redeploy.
Lose a limb.
Bang!
You're unemployed.
You're now completely worthless.
But hey,
Thank you for your service!
