Behind the Bold Human Spirit
Humble men are very few,
pride elevates their ego;
the veil of pretense hides
eyes, hearts, and feelings:
such is the mood of a falsetto
sung by the tenor named Drew!
Behind the bold human spirit
unfaltering courage burned
that never rejected harsh rules
vanquishing the malice of a bigot
who was obsessed with tarot
cards revealing his fate in minutes,
and believing it he turned cold!
Who is frightened by the pandemics
to come? Haven't we seen enough tears
and death that took thousands of lives?
If we survived this plague, it definitely was
the bold human spirit which never
surrenders to fright, saving its laughter...
hoping for days that will dispel fear;
displaying more strength, defeating anger!
