Behind My Own Curtain

The curtain behind my life My thoughts being certain Yet I hear voices, but don't understand I am totally motionless Paused with no response Wondering should I move or just be still I know i have a mission to fulfill My mind is questioning within my will I just stand and stare Flashing in front of me is beware Caution at every given paused step My secrets being well kept Have I lived up to my own standards? But what is my heart saying? Hesitation, but I have given up Lost the courage with no assurance I no longer have endurance.
