Beginning of the End

Walking , Walking , and gently talking .. Where did we go so wrong ??? Its such a shame we didnt see the words within the song ... They took us back to yesterday when things were clear and good ... Now we look around and remember where we stood ... Its seems a lifetime has all but passed and left us in its wake .. A bond we had that we thought that we would never break .. So onward we push and remember those times when life was pure and calm.. The one that we should have clasped tightly within our palm ... In our rush to be from young to old we stripped off all our youth... In our excitement and exuberance we didnt acknowledge the truth... We jumped right in and wanted it all , the freedom , the status , the lark Little did we realise it that reality is rather stark .... We lived on love and fantasies to guide us through our days .... Finally as time drew further on we became complacent in our ways .. Its not so bad to have loved and lost and felt it slip away ... A lesson learned is always stored for further use someday .....
