Before You Take the Fall
Just as sure as the sky is blue
I'll always remember finding out about you
As I saw those words written on that paper,
I could not help it, I was so mad at you.
I fell for the lies I started to cry, you mad me sad.
For every second of every day my mind is on what we had
Seeing now just what you would and did do
To cover up your secret, You lied your way through
What to think, what to do, what to say,
This wasn't going at all my way
With every second my eyes are open,
You really didn't do this secretly I am hoping
I'll wake up soon from this nightmare of mine I'm sure
Then forcing my heart to forget all those screams
My back is against the wall, Reality hits me as
My eyes see the writting on the wall.
I'll have to always catch myself, even more now,
Wherever you are, here by my side,
I will never again let you take that fall.
