Before We Meet

As night crept into her tiny room, she knew the angels would be coming soon. Her hair so thin, but her heart so full, outside the window, she gazed at the moon. How many times had she seen this scene, but tonight was different, a very special meaning. For no one can say, how long we have, no worry lines seen, upon her brow. Her final good byes had already been said, as her family gathered around her bed. Her eyes were so bright, something was special tonight. Kisses of love, delivered from God's Angels above. Not tonight, said a voice so sweet, your work is not finished, you have years, before we meet.
