Before Another Phase Opens
BEFORE ANOTHER PHASE OPENS
Writing the past deeds of my life
That will deny me of my future.
I need just to work and strife,
To paint my future smooth like a furniture.
With my soul clouded by darkness,
I will work hard to keep my dream in fairness.
My soul caved my Being,
Thou will abandon me not in the covering
Thou art the maker of my life
You govern my holy temple to rest.
Leave me in the edge of the knife
I will look up and walk to the west
Where I shall see your glowing face
Before another phase of my life opens
I want to know you as my God
And do away with my father's gods.
Save me Oh my great and mighty Lord
For my soul need help and grace
Before another phase opens,
Save my rotten soul by your grace.
