Before and After

How one could even argue is a point I find so strange From Saul came Paul anew, as only God can change Everyone knew Saul's old way as Christian's did fear Fearing him each day, even when Saul wasn't near A murderous man was he who was filled with hate To this all would agree and all signs would indicate As to Damascus he went with his little gang in tow For on death Saul was intent but little did he know There brightly before his eyes 'The One you persecute' 'Saul why do you so despise, with hatred at your root' With God Almighty right there! his body filled with fear For now Saul had become aware for all had come clear And so will we all tremble in the seeing of God's Face As to what life will resemble you too will need His Grace In your case what will it take if you'll ever come to see See now, for your own sake even if you still don't agree The Christian slayer Saul, became the God Loving and fearing Paul. Paul wrote 13 letters in the Bible and perhaps 14 in Hebrews. How could it be but for God?

I enjoyed this poem about Paul. Very well written. And if there ever was an amazing before and after story, it's Paul's. Lanette Kissel

Yes only God could do that. Always good when the opposition joins your side. They connect better because they can relate better. Thank You Lanette!
