Bees
I used to see bees as a threat to me,
then I grew a fresh garden of my own-
I planted a precious mulberry tree,
and those cute lil’ honey bees found a home.
They spread pollen to a third of our food,
and collect nectar which becomes honey-
Without them we’d have no veggies or fruit,
like a sky without breeze, never sunny.
Oh, sweet honey bees- may you take delight,
make drifts of waves when you spread energy-
As you use your antenna to take flight,
may your hive always be full of honey.
Fuzzy bees may sting while feeling attacked,
but without their vigor, food we would lack.
Words Used: antenna, waves, sky, breeze, nectar, and pollen
