"It has often been said that bees are responsible for one out of every three bites of food we eat. Most crops grown for their fruits (including vegetables such as squash, cucumber, tomato, and eggplant), nuts, seeds, fiber (such as cotton), and hay (alfalfa is grown to feed livestock), require pollination by insects." Google

Through nature’s symbiotic grand design, they share each other’s gifts in perfect plan; the honeybee, neath sky in waves of breeze, seeks out its sustenance from nature's gifts. Antenna guides safe landing onto plants and blossoms which provide the nectar stored and carried by the worker bees back home where honey lines the hive to feed their young. The pollen carried safely will transfer to other blooms...creates more life in turn... new flowers, trees, but also vegetables and fruits that grow to feed the hungry world. The honey from their hives provides a treat, and pollinated plants sprout foods we eat. Sandra M. Haight ~NA~ Contest: Bees Sponsor: Shadow Hamilton Form: Unrhymed Sonnet Judged: 09/29/2016 Required words to include: sky, waves, breeze, antenna, nectar, pollen

Wonderful and informative. i noticed it is an unrhymed sonnet. I might have to try one of these. Difficult? I love it, Mrs Sandra. We are seeing fewer and fewer each year. It is terribly sad for all.
