Bedtime Story

Doze off to a world or rather a place With beautiful colors and demons with no face Waters of red and valleys of black Once you step in no turning back The skies once blue now grey have been turned From the ash and ruin with everything burned And still yet you turn to a child face lit with smiles Though behind her come the demons stretching for miles And for this one child you must fight from within For you are now a father and this is the world we live in
