Bedtime Prayer
I now will lay myself to bed
on soft pillow place my head
seeking rest from length of day
of earnest work and joyful play.
I now will place my mind to rest
to strengthen for tomorrows test
may soft sweet dreams drift me away
in warm remembrance of my day.
I now offer final prayer
to he whose promise I do share
please keep me safe throughout the night
or wake in angles glories sight.
