Bedeviled By Bees

Folks refer to grand times as “bees knees” But I am often bedeviled by bees I take one step out the door Approached by a flying hoard Stand motionless, so still, afraid to sneeze But if they land upon an arm or leg I split my shell like a hard-boiled egg Bedeviled I jitterbug An energetic spark plug The hive is abuzz like a powder keg I’ve no clue why they’re attracted to me There is no reason that I can foresee In woods or on the beach If you hear somebody screech It’s me pleading with bees for mercy

You should hear me laughing, Diane!! I am deathly afraid of bees!..I'm always running for my life.... as much as I love to work in my little garden, I will wait until sunset to weed and prune, all because of the bees!! Enjoyed this totally... Thanks for sharing it. Love, Audrey

I'm not the biggest fan of wasps Diane. I'm 6' 2" yet I can run a mile from them. Stinging Limerick >> James

Hi Diane- Perhaps YOU are the "bees knees "(the greatest, the best and also attractive)so maybe the bees are therefore attracted to you.Words probably got round the hives and they're trying too say ooo, zzzz I like you! Tell them to buzz off, that you're not interested. It's their poor cousins you want to watch the -wasps.Fun write got my imagination working overtime. luv June(Sylvia)
