Becoming Human Again
The word “water” sounds wet.
The word “fire” sounds hot.
The word “ice” sounds frozen.
The word “human” sounds compassionate.
Compassionate the word “human” sounds,
but we kill each other for what we believe is right,
fighting each other because of ideologies;
ideologies that don’t reason or feel or desire worship.
The world becoming a haven for pain, tears and regret
day by day, it is only a few courageous “we”,
who can stand up and create an army of peace;
faith being the bullet, and hope being the gun.
Winning the war against violence,
we shall restore our spiritual way of living,
and live up to our names as humans.
