Become a Drain
Become A Drain
Why on others do we become a drain?
Be both belligerent and profane
Ending up leaving a permanent stain
When we rub others against the grain.
How hopeless can the cause seem to be
Being meant for you and never me
That consistently I have evaded
And not traded when deal was shaded.
Continued looking down lonely trail
From her, no longer received any mail
What she did to me was over and done
Wo was once in my life, the only one.
