I am thankful that I had a loving, tender father that raised me so,
it was an easy thing then for me to come to my Heavenly Father
and trust Him.
Because of You, Dad
Twenty years have come and passed
since I have seen your face,
a face so gentle, kind and sweet
yet God took from me through grace.
I used to look to you, my love
for all my earthly needs,
but, when you were gone, I needed Him
and then I fell down upon my knees.
For daddy, it was because of your love
that I was able to find,
how much the Savior cared for me
to know of His love divine.
And, now it is through Your Love Dear Father
that I can clearly see,
that You have a plan and a Will to work
that only betters me.
I know in my heart that He is coming soon
to catch us all away,
and He has given me His Word that I will see you there
what a wonderful happy day.
