Fragile light, softly glowing Sighs on the breath, Caressing the voice of the fallen Leaves, crumpled in the grass, Messy, strewn like prayers, Always fading in the shadows, Where joy once blessed, Now, soundless memories, regrets, Blowing on the winds, like those leaves, Wrinkles in the past, where life - ghostlike, Silent as the beauty that survives, The longing for a serenity, Glowing softly, tortured memories, Crumbling with the leaves of autumn, Solace, frail promises, Erase the darkness, the unstable Forces of a moment Before yesterday gagged the moments, Suppressing every hope, While dreams fell, gentle as rain, Tumbling from a calm sky, Melancholic and miserable, Like the memories, Inhaling breaths, colors – crisp and clean, Blazing through the past’s crazy, Dancing in burning tears, The weak light, dying by the dark of night, Remembering the sapphire smiles, Eyes glistening, intense, Like the blackest dread, a fear So startling it feels like gloom, The shade of regret – the influence of guilt, Grief slowly invades the spirit, Wistful and pure, Balancing the weight of a feeling, Black, like the storm’s hue, Dreading the fight with a dying urge, When light restores the moments, Scorching the thoughts With promises, least expected Wise like the prayer that won’t die, Spoken from a heart that expects, More than miracles – Wonders that garnish forever With the meaning of His gift to the sinner, The gift that never stops giving – Because of Him, we’ve escaped the prison, Confining – not just the light of His love, But the music of a soul, Who knows the meaning of hope, A soul who knows what it is to shine, Throughout all time – Because He is the light that burns Through the moments of doubt and hurt, The moments when His blessings, Stir up faith that frees, faith that believes, Faith that is sent by the God who sees… Beyond the darkest parts of the past, Into the moment when love finds its way back Into the soul who will never let go – Of His hand, His light and His love, All the beautiful sent down from above!

Dear Gina, What a powerful journey through darkness and light. You masterfully create imagery of fallen leaves and fading memories, contrasting them with the enduring flame of hope. The poem speaks to the universal struggle with grief and regret, yet ultimately offers a powerful message of resilience and faith. The final lines, highlighting God's unwavering love and the light that shines even in darkness, leave a feeling of hope and peace. Gina this is deeply personal and inspiring poem. - Blessings, Daniel

I loved reading your inspirational words this morning, words that gave me pause to think about faith and hope---faith and hope are intertwined. Hope is God's gift to us when we are faithful. I know he's helped me through some dark times; with grace he's saved me from some bad choices. Eternally grateful. Blessings, Sara
